SWISS winter flight schedule 2024/2025
In winter, SWISS serves a number of destinations that were added to the current summer flight schedule. On long-haul routes, this includes the US capital Washington, D.C., which SWISS flies to five times a week. On short-haul flights, SWISS flies daily to London Gatwick in winter and three times a week to Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Košice (Slovakia). SWISS is also expanding its offering to selected intercontinental destinations. This coming winter, the route from Zurich to the Californian metropolises of Los Angeles and San Francisco will be offered daily and flights to Miami twice a day. SWISS also operates daily flights between Zurich and the Chinese city of Shanghai. From Geneva, SWISS passengers will also benefit from a direct connection to Oslo next winter, four times a week. In addition, Copenhagen, with five flights per week, and Valencia and Malaga, each with three weekly connections, are served more frequently than last winter. The 2024/25 winter flight schedule is valid from October 27, 2024 to March 29, 2025. The SWISS flight program from Zurich and Geneva includes a total of 93 destinations.

Turkish Airlines increases frequency to Istanbul
Turkish Airlines will add two additional flights to its existing daily connections to its flight schedule between July 15 and October 23, 2024. The connections on Monday and Wednesday are new. This means that passengers from Salzburg can use a total of nine weekly flights to Istanbul Airport. Details about flight times: Flight days: MON, TUE, WED, THU, SAT Istanbul - Salzburg: Departure. 8:10 a.m. - Arrival: 9:45 a.m Salzburg - Istanbul: Departure: 10:40 a.m. - Arrival: 2:15 p.m Flight days: MON, WED, FRI, SUN Istanbul - Salzburg: Departure: 4:45 p.m. - Arrival: 6:20 p.m Salzburg - Istanbul: Departure: 7:15 p.m. - Arrival: 10:45 p.m With the Turkish Airlines' offer, travelers from Salzburg have access to the global route network via Istanbul. Possible destinations from Istanbul include Johannesburg, Cape Town, Bangkok, Mauritius, Denpasar/Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Phuket, Delhi, Hanoi, Tokyo, Seoul, Zanzibar, Hong Kong, Maldives, Shanghai, Beijing, Seychelles, Taipei, Nairobi, Colombo, Jakarta, Muscat and Ho Chi Minh City.

Air France has announced the first additions to its 2024-2025 winter schedule
As of 28 October, Air France will operate three flights a week from Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to Salvador, located in Bahia State, Brazil. The flights will be operated on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. With the addition of Salvador, Air France will operate up to 30 flights a week to and from Brazil. Thanks to a commercial partnership with their partner GOL, Air France and KLM customers will enjoy more flexibility by easily connecting to 40 domestic destinations within Brazil. Another addition to Air France's winter schedule is Malé, the capital of the Maldives. Air France will offer up to two flights a week from Paris-CDG to Malé during the winter holiday season, from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025. On top of that, Air France will introduce a new route to Kiruna, Sweden, making it the 5th destination of Air France in Lapland. One weekly flight will be operated from Paris-CDG on Saturdays, starting from December 21, 2024. Finally, Air France will extend its services to two cities in the United States during the winter season. The airline will offer three flights a week to Denver, Colorado, and Phoenix, Arizona, on departure from Paris-CDG. Previously, the service to Denver had only been available during the summer season, but now customers will have the opportunity to visit this vibrant city in the winter as well. The Phoenix route is new for the summer of 2024, inaugurated on May 23.

Flights from Frankfurt to Delhi and Mumbai
Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA), continues to expand its offering. From June 17, 2024, Vistara will fly daily non-stop from Frankfurt to Delhi and Mumbai. The flight to Mumbai departs Frankfurt at 8:20 p.m. and reaches the destination at 7:55 a.m. the next day. Flight UK 26 also leaves Frankfurt at 8:20 p.m. and arrives in Delhi at 8:30 a.m. the following day. By increasing the frequency, Vistara is responding to the high demand for both routes.

Austrian Airlines offers more Long-Haul flights in Winter 2024/2025
On long-haul routes, Austrian Airlines guests can look forward to the Boston destination, which was introduced in the summer and is served up to three times a week in the winter. There will also be more frequencies on some of the most popular routes: Bangkok will be served up to 13 times a week instead of seven times a week and New York, Montreal and the Maldives will be served five times a week. New to the winter flight schedule is Ivalo in northern Finland, which will be served every Saturday from January to March. Kittilä and Rovaniemi, which were added to the flight schedule last winter, will also be offered again this winter - as will the new summer destinations Bremen and Tbilisi.

TAP Air Portugal expands its transatlantic connections to North America and Brazil in the summer of 2024
The number of flights from Lisbon to Recife, Brazil, will be increased by six additional connections to a total of 13 weekly frequencies. Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro will be increased by two flights per week to a total of nine and 12 flights per week, respectively. Additionally, TAP will increase its connections between Lisbon and Belém, Brasília, Natal/Maceio, Porto Alegre, Salvador, and São Paulo by one flight per week. The airline will offer a total of 96 flights per week between Portugal and Brazil. Compared to summer 2023, four additional flights per week will be operated to Toronto, Canada, bringing the total to 14 flights per week. Furthermore, the number of flights between Lisbon and Montreal will be increased from five to six flights per week. Washington will now be served twice daily, representing an increase of four connections per week compared to summer 2023. The offering between Lisbon and San Francisco will also be expanded from five to six flights per week. Overall, TAP will offer 77 flights per week between Portugal and the USA this summer. This summer, TAP will also operate three times weekly between Lisbon and Caracas. A new addition is that one of these flights per week will make a stop in Funchal on either the outbound or return journey, providing an attractive option for passengers traveling to and from Madeira on this route.
